LIFT works with businesses and residents across the four boroughs of Islington, Camden, Hackney and Tower Hamlets: opening and broadening access to unrivalled, skilled and diverse local talent and integrating them into the wider local economy.
We will help grow and develop your business by providing dedicated support with sourcing and pre-screening candidates, bespoke promotion of roles and tailored support to grow your own talent.
Apprenticeships are a viable and valuable option for both residents and businesses; providing career development whilst earning an income. This work-based study model is becoming increasingly more accessible for residents to train while they work and businesses to access local talent.
LIFT can offer support at every stage of the apprenticeship journey including but not limited to; Access to mapped network of training providers and apprenticeship programmes, a dedicated employer engagement officer to support in developing job roles to apprenticeships, pre-screening candidates, levy sharing opportunities.
LIFT want to make sure that all businesses in Camden, Hackney, Islington and Tower Hamlets can access the huge benefits of shared workspace no matter their financial situation.
Each borough is developing brand new affordable workspace over the course of the programme to deliver the aims of LIFT programme through subsidised and free desk space. While these workspaces are being built, we will also work as a partnership to place knowledge economy businesses in existing affordable workspaces across the LIFT boroughs.
We will be running events to share knowledge and promote networking within the community. Please check back here for regular updates and how to sign up.
